What's on in my area?

Need inspiration to entertain adults and children during the school holidays?  Click on the red links below to view external websites with further information on a wide range of activities.  If you know of a great suggestion that we've missed, please email us so that we can share it here for others.

  • FREEDOM Leisure at Arun leisure Centre offer a wide range of facilitates during term time and within the schools holidays such as their Friday Night Project, Oscar’s Soft Play, inflatable swimming sessions, Roller Skating and Holiday Day Camps.  They also have a Facebook page here to stay informed of their latest activities.


  • Aldwick Parish Council advertise events within the Aldwick area including the popular PlayRangers sessions that operate from Avisford Park and West Park during the holidays.  Keep an eye on the website for details of planned sessions.


  • ARENA Sports Centre Offer a wide range of activities and also provide holiday clubs for children.  Phone them on 01243 870000 or find them on Facebook here.


  • West Sussex Libraries. Visit the West Sussex Libraries page for reading inspiration and for information about planned activities for adults and children within your local library. 


  • Bognor Regis Town Council website gives details of events happening across Bognor Regis such as Funshine Days, Hampshire Avenue Fun week and other local events. For more information visit their Facebook page.



  • Arundel Lido is set within beautiful surroundings and offers swimming sessions within two outside pools.  View their website to find out more or visit their Facebook page here.


  • Visit Arundel website lists all sorts of events that are happening in and around the Arundel area.


  • Flying Fortress Soft Play in Ford offer a play sessions within a padded climbing frame in the shape of an aeroplane for older children to explore with a separate play space for babies and toddlers.  01903 733550

If you have children aged 4-16 who are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals or are entitled to them, then they are eligible to take part in the Holiday Activities and Food Programme. Campaigned for by football player Marcus Rashford, this national government initiative delivers at least 4 hours for 4 days a week of fun and active provision. It will run for a minimum of 4 weeks in the summer and for a week in the Easter and Christmas holidays. As part of the day, each child is provided with a nutritious meal.
